DISABILITY LAW
There are a number of ways to be considered disabled under Social Security’s rules and regulations.
If you’re within a few months of your 50th birthday, or older, we may be able to qualify you for benefits even if you are capable of performing certain types of work.
If you’re under 50, you may meet the definition, or “Listing,” for an impairment.
Even if you don’t meet the definition for a recognized impairment, you may still qualify under “Step Five” of the sequential evaluation process, essentially meaning you are unable to perform any job.
